Two runners sitting on a boardwalk after a session, filled NOBONK flasks on the ground beside them

Long sessions beat you up.

We've got you:

The 90-minute fade

That slow power-down when the tank runs dry. 30g of carbs every 30 minutes — at the 2:1 glucose-to-fructose ratio your gut absorbs fastest — keeps energy flowing so the wall never shows up.

Cramping calves

Sweat takes sodium, potassium, magnesium and calcium with it. Every serve puts all four back, 250mg of sodium leading the charge.

Gel gut

Thick gels sit heavy and beg for a water chaser. NOBONK is already mixed with 200ml of water, so fuel and fluid land together — easy on the stomach, serve after serve.

Flavour fatigue at hour three

Clean taste, not syrup. Sweet enough to look forward to, never sickly. Most gels are gross anyway.

Clean energy
Natural flavours
No artificial aftertaste
2:1 glucose : fructose
Full electrolytes
30g carbs per serve

The endurance stack

Glucose — 20g

Your body's preferred race fuel. Absorbed through the gut's primary carb transporter and burned almost immediately.

Fructose — 10g

The second lane. Fructose uses a separate transporter, so the 2:1 blend moves more carbs per hour than glucose alone — without the gut upset.

Electrolytes — the full panel

Sodium 250mg, potassium 114mg, magnesium 35mg, calcium 30mg. Everything sweat takes out, not just salt.

Water — 200ml

Fuel that hydrates as it lands. One flask serve every 30 minutes keeps carbs and fluid arriving together.

Three sports, one gut to manage. A fuelling routine simple enough to hold at race intensity.

Anyone who's hit the wall

And never wants to meet it again. Start inside the first 30 minutes and stay ahead of empty.

Product & formula

How is this different from a gel?

Gels give you carbs but skimp on electrolytes, sit thick in your stomach, and beg for a water chaser. NOBONK is the same 30g of carbs already dissolved in 200ml of water with the full electrolyte panel — fuel and fluid land together, no chaser, no sludge.

Why not just use a sports drink?

Most sports drinks are electrolytes with a sprinkle of sugar — to get 30g of carbs you'd need to skol more than half a litre, every half hour. NOBONK packs the full serve into 200ml, so you can actually keep it up for a whole race.

Will it upset my stomach?

For most people, no. The 2:1 glucose-to-fructose ratio uses two separate gut transporters, so carbs clear your stomach faster than glucose alone — and because it's a liquid, not a gel, there's nothing thick to sit there.

But your gut is a muscle — it needs training too. If you rock up on race day and take three sachets back-to-back having never tried the product before, your stomach might have some thoughts about that. Start simple: first run, try one sachet and see how you feel. Over the following weeks, build up to the number of serves you'll need on race day. Your gut will adapt, and by the time the gun goes off you'll know exactly how your body handles it. Don't experiment on race day. Ever.

What does it actually taste like?

Clean taste, not syrup. Pineapple Mango is bright and tropical; Grape is the grape you remember, but cleaner — no artificial aftertaste. Sweet enough to look forward to at hour three, never sickly.

What's in a serve?

30g carbohydrates (20g glucose + 10g fructose), sodium 250mg, potassium 114mg, magnesium 35mg, calcium 30mg. Full ingredients for both flavours are in the panel above and on every pack.

Is it vegan or gluten-free?

We don't make dietary claims: NOBONK is packed in a facility that also processes wheat, gluten, milk, soy, tree nuts and fish. Check the full ingredients list and get in touch before ordering if you have an allergy.

Usage

How do I use it?

Mix one sachet with 200ml of water — the soft flask makes the measuring automatic — and take one serve every 30 minutes during sustained exercise.

How many serves do I need?

One every 30 minutes. A 90-minute session is 3 serves; a 3–4 hour marathon is 6–8, so two 4-packs covers race day with a spare.

Should I drink water as well as NOBONK?

Yes. NOBONK replaces your gel and your electrolytes — it doesn't replace water. Each sachet mixes with 200ml, so you're already getting some fluid in, but a mouthful from an aid-station bubbler or your bottle is still a good idea, especially on hot days or long efforts. Think of it this way: NOBONK handles the fuel, water handles the hydration. Both have a job to do.

When should I start fuelling?

Don't wait for the fade — start inside the first 30 minutes and stay ahead of empty. Fuel you take early is fuel that's absorbed by the back half.

Why only up to 6 serves per day? What if I need more for a long race?

Fair question — and the short answer is: you can absolutely take more if your race demands it.

The “up to 6 serves” you see on the packet is there because of our sodium content. NOBONK is classified as a Formulated Supplementary Sports Food (FSSF) under Australian food standards — and that classification, driven largely by our high carbohydrate profile, requires us to display a recommended daily limit based on sodium intake. It's a labelling requirement, not a hard ceiling on what your body can handle during a big effort. Many electrolyte drinks sit under a different classification and can recommend higher sodium amounts without the same restriction; because we combine high carbs with full electrolytes in one product, we land in the FSSF category and have to reflect that guidance on the label.

In practice, if you're four hours into a race and you need a seventh sachet, take it. Your sodium needs during sustained endurance effort are well above everyday guidelines anyway. Train with the product, know how your body responds, and fuel to the demands of your day — not just the number on the packet.

Do I need the flask?

Any bottle with 200ml of water works. The flask just makes the maths easy: one flask, one serve, no measuring mid-run.
